What we love about her home
This rustic farm house has a delightful and welcoming feel. From wooden beams to soft furnishings, fresh flowers and beautifully printed blinds, this coastal farm house is the place everyone dreams of living in. The classic country coastal styling in the living room (above) has been decorated with a Laura Ashley Lynden fabric snuggler, Burlington leather chair in Vintage, Elliot footstool in Harley Dark Sea Spray, Nigella cushions in Hedgerow, and Roman blinds in Wesley linen. And we just can’t get enough of the beautiful style.
Rosemary’s inspiration behind the design
For this project, Rosemary chose to work with Kay Cullen at the Laura Ashley design service to create a space that works for her. ‘I’m a huge Laura Ashley fan and had worked with Kay previously at my Georgian house in Aberaeron, when we became such good friends,’ she explained. ‘Kay pulled the whole scheme together and did a spot of furniture upcycling for me, and we even went antique hunting together on her days off.’ To read more about Rosemary’s exciting design renovation, pick up a copy of the Period Living October issue.
