Our friend Will of interiors blog Bright Bazaar is at home with his Mum... read more
Hello there! It’s Will from Bright.Bazaar¬†here and today I thought it would be¬†fun to share with you a little photoshoot I did back at home with my mum recently. We were talking about her love for all things Laura Ashley, when it dawned on me how fun it would be to put together a little post of her favourites from past and present.
So, Mummy Bazaar(!), it’s over to you…
I bought this Bramley dresser¬†several years ago when we moved into our current home. It’s currently in the family room where I like to change up its look as the seasons change. I’m looking forward to adding a festive touch by decorating it with Will when he comes home for Christmas.
Like the dresser, I bought this set of floral mugs quite a long time ago but they are still going strong despite the multiple cups of tea I drink everyday! The seaside print hangs in my kitchen as the duck egg blue colour in it matched perfectly with the rest of the scheme. Every time Will comes home he asks if he can hang it in his flat but I love it too much to part with it! Laura Ashley currently do some similar seaside prints here. I decided to buy the owl doorstop recently because it adds a bit of fun to my hallway.
This dress is another recent Laura Ashley addition to my wardrobe, and it’s¬†proven to be a staple piece. I find myself wearing it a lot for casual¬†coffee mornings as well as dressing it up when I need to look smarter for¬†appointments.
These three items are on my radar to look out for in store soon: the Camomile¬†jug¬†would look lovely in the¬†middle of the kitchen table with a bunch of seasonal blooms; the Hydrangea¬†cushion¬†is the perfect finishing¬†touch for the living room sofa; and the Finchley¬†armchair¬†is ideal as I’ve been looking for a wing‚ÄĎbacked chair for some time.
