This cosy ‘winter sports’ inspired story has been influenced by the trend for everything ‘Alpine’… From ice skating, skiing and even après ski, the inspiration here is snow capped mountains, icy lakes, log fires and alpine lodges. Snowflake or winter snow scenes and even winter animals such as deer make fun conversational prints, whilst intarsia and jacquard designs are key.
