FSCA/JS: Franchise Supply Chain Assistant- Japanese Speaking – Fulham, London

This role is an entry-level position working within the Franchise Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the allocation of stock to all Laura Ashley international markets. In addition they will ensure all aspects of the franchise administration runs efficiently and effectively.

Excellent organisational and PC skills (especially Excel) are essential, combined with the ability to work in a team. Ideally, the successful candidate will also be fluent in Japanese.

CD: Creative Director – Fulham, London

This senior role is responsible for developing and implementing the Creative strategy for the Company. Leading the Visual Merchandising, Catalogue and Graphic Design teams, the key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that new stores are designed to reflect the Laura Ashley brand, high visual merchandising standards are developed and maintained across all stores and the catalogues are inspirational and commercial.

Applicants must be creative and inspirational in approach with strong international Home and Fashion product knowledge. A real flair for design and, most importantly, an affinity for the Laura Ashley brand are essential. Experience of managing a Graphic Design/CAD department would be beneficial. Applicants must be flexible, enthusiastic, resourceful and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to travel extensively in the UK and abroad, as necessary.

LM: Licensing Manager – Fulham London

We are seeking a motivated, commercially aware individual to manage the operation of our licensing department. Main responsibilities will include developing existing licensed programmes, conducting research into potential business partners and identifying commercially viable deals.

The successful candidate will have licensing experience and the ability to manage sales and monitor targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills are key, as well as the ability to negotiate at an intermediate level. You must be PC literate and have good people management skills. You must also have proven ability to prioritise and organise time efficiently.

AMHF: Assistant Merchandiser (Home Furnishings) – Fulham, London

This role provides an ideal opportunity for an existing Senior Allocator or Assistant Merchandiser to join our Home Furnishings Merchandising team. We are seeking a motivated individual with proven merchandising experience with a high street retailer, keen to progress in their career. This role is responsible for trading the department and contributing to the planning process in order to optimise sales and margin.

You will need to be a good communicator with excellent analytical and organisational skills. The ability to work in a team is essential.

SMMC: Senior Mail Order Marketing Co-ordinator – Fulham, London

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Mail Order Marketing and E Commerce department of Laura Ashley.

In this role you will provide Marketing plans for Mail Order to ensure profitable business growth, produce Marketing budget plans and perform regular reviews to ensure expenditure forecasts are in place. You will monitor the company database to ensure accuracy and effective use in order to increase sales by marketing activity and liase with relevant teams to verify marketing material is effective and within the Company’s Brand Strategy.

WD: Web Artworker/Designer – Fulham, London

This is exciting opportunity to join the graphics team of an international lifestyle brand. You will be responsible for designing our website graphics including banners, animated graphics and flash files, ensuring their layout is in line with the Laura Ashley brand.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of design & delivery of digital marketing, combined with proven commercial design experience in graphics software applications & techniques. You must be able to multitask in order to cope with several projects at one time. Proficiency in Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Illustrator is essential. Experience with Java, HTML and Image Ready would be ideal. Must be MAC and PC literate.

R: Receptionist – Fulham, London

We are looking for a professional individual to join our busy facilities team. The main focus of this role will be front of house and involves managing a busy switchboard, dealing with visitors, incoming deliveries and the co-ordination of the daily post and stationary requests.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills and a confident manner. Previous reception experience is ideal.

AAM: Assistant Admin Manager – Fulham, London

Would you like the opportunity to work in the buying department for an international lifestyle brand? Do you have exceptional admin skills? Then this could be the role for you!

We are seeking an Assistant Admin Manager to join our buying admin team. You will be responsible for creating product data, raising orders and ensuring timely delivery to our warehouse. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to new systems projects and ensure appropriate processes are followed.

You must have good numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail. Organisation is key to this role combined with the ability to communicate effectively. Managerial skills would be advantageous as you will responsible for training the admin team. Intermediate PC skills are essential, especially in Excel.

VMH: Visual Merchandising Home Assistant – Fulham, London

This is an excellent opportunity to join our award-winning visual team. Based in London, you will be responsible for assisting in the compilation of visual guidelines for all our Home Furnishings stores and ensuring visual standards are maintained. Other duties will include assisting with floor plans, new store openings and special projects.

The successful candidate will have proven visual merchandising skills, with an eye for detail. Excellent PC skills are required and experience with Photoshop would be ideal. A flexible approach is key and you must be prepared to travel.

Head of Shop Development – Fulham, London

This is an exciting new role based in our Head Office in Fulham. You will be responsible for overseeing the finishes and fitting out of our stores in the UK and Ireland, ensuring budgets are adhered to and project work is carried out efficiently.

Excellent leadership skills are required, as you will be managing a team of field-based project managers. Construction knowledge is critical and it would be advantageous if the successful candidate has quantity surveyor experience. This role may involve travelling therefore a flexible approach is required.

PM: Project Manager – Shop Development (Temporary)

Head Office is seeking a new Project Manager to cover our stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The role will primarily be responsible for the finishes and fitting out of new stores, liasing with contractors, suppliers, consultants and authorities. The two key areas of this role include Project Management and Shop Development.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a retail environment, of handling facilities issues, ideally in-store, with the ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines. You will also be a good communicator, remain calm and controlled under pressure and be able to make an impact.

This position is an exciting opportunity for someone to widen their experience in a busy and varied role.

JBHF: Junior Buyer (Home Furnishings) – Fulham, London

We are seeking a Junior Buyer with proven experience to work with the buying and design team to deliver a commercial range. It is essential that you have experience of sourcing and product development with a design team /suppliers and can demonstrate proven negotiation and presentation skills. You must have good commercial awareness, the ability to work under pressure and an excellent eye for product. Experience of working with a home furnishings department in either hard or soft goods would be advantageous.

RVM: Regional Visual Merchandisers – Midlands, South West/South Wales and Ireland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation of management accounts & reports, financial statements & audit schedules, preparation & monitoring of budgets and new store assessments. Candidates will need to have a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) and, ideally, approximately 3 years accounting experience. We will also consider part-qualified candidates who have the relevant experience.

AHF: Allocator (Home Furnishings) – Fulham, London

Would you like the opportunity to work for an international lifestyle retailer? Are you good with numbers? Then this could be the ideal role for you! This is an exciting opportunity to join our Home Furnishings merchandising team at our head office. We are seeking a motivated individual who will be responsible for ensuring stock is correctly allocated to our stores. Previous experience of managing stock levels within a retail office is desirable but not essential. You will also require good general administration and data checking skills.
